PSE 2025 - Rectangle Tool Visibility Option Missing

I used the Rectangle Tool Visibility option just fine 2 days ago. Now Visibility option is gone and I can't find it no way no how. This is the box with 3 options and a big red X in the middle box. This version of PSE is the most frustrating yet. "Things" disappear all the time and I spend hours finding what is now missing. The documentation is almost worthless to solve your own problem.

What version of Photoshop elements is that?  It may help to first to reset your tool / tools. 


What you have labelled as a new layer icon simply means "put a new shape on a new layer"

Partial screenshots are rarely of any use- please post a screenshot of the enitre program like what you see below.

Perhaps, you mean the layer style picker.

It should appear in the Options once a shape layer is created.

Click on the Styles picker box then select Visibility from the Styles picker dropdown menu.
