PSE 2025 stopped opening RAW files

I have been using Photoshop Premiere Elements for several years and I have been using PSE 2025 for several months with little to no issues, then I started receiving an error message "Camera RAW requires GPU acceleration to open photos". It will open the file, but I do not get the ACR screen to make adjustments.

I have deleted and reinstalled both PSE 2023, 2025 and Camera RAW from the Adobe site.

PSE 2023 works just fine and will open RAW files in the appropriate window and allows adjustments.

I also reset my Nividia GPU using the Nividia utility.

1. Turn your computer  all the way off.
2. go get a cup of coffee.
3. Look out a window for about 5 minutes, sipping the coffee.
4. Turn the computer back on.

Thank you for the suggestion, which I followed, incuding a full system scan and update on all systems, deleting and re-insatlling PSE2025 and deleting the TempDisableGPU2 file.

It is working again!

6. Check and delete the TempDisableGPU3 or TempDisableGPU2 files

I deleted the TempDisableGPU2 file and performed a complete system reboot including updating all drivers and deleting and re-installing PSE2025.

It is working again!
