PSE 9

New Here ,
Oct 05, 2017 Oct 05, 2017

I know this is an old program and I intend to upgrade to PS C5 at the first of the year. However, I am at the peak of my busy season and can not afford the time to so so now.

My iMac had a graphics screen faluire and I had to purchase a new iMac. The Apple store was able to do a Target Data Disc transfer. This transfered all documents and my PSE 9 software, with the addtional actions I had purchased and added to it. The software transfered just fine and still has the added actions in it. The issue is if I try to import more than one jpeg image into PSE9, to edit, it crashes. I am able to add them in one by one, edit one image, go to save and it will crash again. It will only work if I import ONE image at a time edit and save ONE image at a time. I can not delete the program and re-install because I can't find the original PSE 9 disc.

I am BEGGING for any help!

I am technically overhelmed and weeks behind.

Thank you in advance!

Kate

Did you save the serial number when you purchased it?

Did you register it?

Yes, I remember a serial number becuase I downloaded it on a Mac and a PC. I was able to go back and find where i purchased it on Amazon on May 1, 2011 and have recored of that, through Amazon. However, it shows a model # etc but no serial number on the orginal order. This entire crash has been a HUGE learning lesson! I thought I registered it but it would have been under my email address at that time kgaines@ou.edu I no longer have access to that email and can not rember what I would have used for a password in 2011

Ok, after over 4 hours the PSE9 has finally downloaded. When I click on the red install button I get a box pop up with the below

"Install" can't be opened. You should eject the disk image.

Not, sure what this means as there is no disc drive on this iMac. I tried coping the download into me applications and then install. There it tells me to move it to my trash.

Ugh, do you know I can do now?

Before I saw your message I goggled how to do this at 2am this morning. Please forgive me but I am emtionly overwhelmed and lacking of sleep. I did all those steps. It was fpurced in but had NO elements added in and I have no idea how to transfer all the addtional outsorced actions that I purchsed and HAVE to use to offer my clients the editing style they have paid me for.  At this point I am willing to hire ANYONE to help me. My only though was to return this Mac and but a PC that will host PSE. This is affect my buinsess.

I did try to uplaod 5 inages into PSE9 the new version that I uploaded and inastalled , as metioned above and it crashed when I did so. is there ANYTHING that I can purchase that will allow me to use my current actions doe PSE that I MUST have to do my job? I have spent the last 48 hours on just this one task. And what I am finding on the web is that Mac OS Sierra will not support PSE or PS.
