Recently I just migrated to a new computer with PSE 9 and Windows 10. What I noticed is that whenever PSE modifies an image file, such as writing keywords or changing the title or date, the created as well as modified dates change on the file. So the created and modified dates are always the same.
On the previous computer, I had the same PSE 9, but with Windows 7. There it behaved more predictably, in that the modified date changed, but not the created date. (I can verify this by looking at older image files.)
This would seem to indicate an operating system change, but it doesn't happen with other file types. Has anybody else noticed it? Can this behavior be altered? I don't think the created date should be changed each time the file is modified.
