Until recently, upon inserting a flash drive or a media card into my laptop, PSE has imported my photos and has organized them on my hard drive based on dd-mm-yyyy format. I have loved this. Then it seems that all of a sudden it doesn't anymore. It switched to some Microsoft option that only did mm-yyyy folders. If I change the default settings in windows to using PSE, it only gives the option to organize not to import as the default option. I no longer even can get the Microsoft option to import.
1) How do I get back to what it used to do automatically?
2) Is there a way for it to rearrange all of my other jpgs that were previously imported into nice, neat folders as well?
I am using PSE 13 on a Windows 10 machine.
Many thanks!!!!!

Forget about Microsoft options, it's a setting you have to set in the organizer in two different locations:
- your organizer preferences (Edit >> Preferences >> general)
- Your settings in the advanced panel of the downloader (how to create new folder names based on your date scheme).
As far as I know, that last setting is 'sticky' and does overwrite the general choice in the preferences.
