Approx 2 days ago I downloaded photoshop elements 2018 trial version to see if it would help me. The price shown to me was 69.99 us$. I have played around with trial version and decided to proceed with the purchase. But it looks as if the price is now 99.99. I thought that the price was determined on the date of downloading the trial version. But maybe I was wrong please advise the price I need to pay if I buy the trial version and what website address i need to go to. Thanks. Bill Andrus

The price is the price at time of purchase, not the time the trial was downloaded.
Can you go into your browser history and see if you can go to the page that had the lower price?
PC or Mac?

Hello
I went into yjr browser history and am able to confirm that I downloaded the trial on Jan 6 2018. I remember reaing that the price was 69.99. I had a lot of difficulty figuring out what the price of elements 2018 was and I poked around alot of google searches before I got a price. I always kept running into something called creative cloud which I did not understand and still don't. My interest was in elements 2018 which the person at the local camera shop told me about. I am not a photo professional far from it. So I downloaded elements 2018 on Jan 6. Can you confirm theprice on that day. I am certain it was 69.99 U$, at least I thought it was because I remember converting to canadian dollars on the exchange rate of Jan 6. So on Jan 7 and 8 I played around with the trial of 2018, took a lesson on lynda.com and liked it. So I then decided to buy it ut when I went to figure out how to buy it theprice was 99.99, almost a 50% pop in price.
It seems rather straightforward.
If the price i pay is the price day of actual purchase then I have to pay 99.99
If the price I pay is the price on the day I decide to try it out like you would in a store then it is 69.99. I understand the need to confirm the price as 69.99 on Jan 6 but I simply cant figure out how to do this. Can you check the price of 2018 on Jan 6 2018. If it is 69.99 I am correct if 99.99 then i am wrong.
In either case based on what you say that the price I have to pay is the price on day of purchase then the price is 99.99. I will probably end up sucking it up and buying elements because I like it but a 50% increase from what I honestly expected throws me off a bit.
Thanks for your response and perhaps I have to put this down to a lesson learned. I hate buying stuff on the internet, much prefer a store but perhaps this just shows my age.
Thanks for your response
Regards
