Hello -

Anyone else having an issue where in Quick mode, you cannot use any of the tools (Smart Fix, Lighting, Color) on a JPG or RAW file? Expert mode works fine - updated to latest Elements 2020 version and latest OS X Catalina version as well...

Could you describe a bit more in detail what you observe? Maybe I have the same problem. I use a german version of PSE2020 on OS Catalina 10.15. Opening in QUICK (SCHNELL in german) mode e.g. Color or Balance the drop-down works, I see the windows, sliders, etc., mouse over a window or a slider also works and shows the expected effect but clicking on e.g. a window closes the drop-down but nothing happens to the picture.

So I think I figured out the issue - whenever I work on my extended monitor (4K resolution ViewSonic), these tools do not allow me to "save" the adjustments.

Whenever I use the built in laptop display, it works without issue.

Have you tried this? Do you get a similar result?

This isn't a solution - as I think we'd like to be able to work on higher resolution screens and use the tools properly 🙂

Yes, I think this is also my problem. Today I've used my extended monitor and I've encountered problems with the Quick mode tools. Moving PSE to my laptop monitor solved the problem. I fully agree, I also would prefer to work with PSE on the extended monitor. How can we make Adobe aware of this?

Well done to mrkevin111 for working it out but this is not a fix.

@Adobe - Steve Cordero You really need to fix this serious bug.

I have just upgraded to Elements 2022 for Mac. Everyting is fine on native Mac display, but nothing none ofthe Adjustments in the Quick Tab work on my Extended display.

A very obscure and annoying limitation that I do not expect from professional software.

Sorry,  I am not familiar with the Photoshop Elements product or  the conversation above.  If you want to file a bug issue on an Adobe Desktop product, there is a public submission form to do so located here:  https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html
