Ho installato Photoshop Elements 10.0.0  sistema operativo Windows 10

Come fare ?

Grazie

Hi,

You didn't say which version of Elements you are using - it looks like version 8 or 9.

When you select an option from the drop down list for Predefinito and then save an  image, that setting should be the same next time. No need to use the Alt key but you must save an image by clicking on OK.

It is "sticky" for me but then I may be using a different version.

Hi,

What type of file are you starting with (GIF, JPG)?

What pre-set are you selecting? I tried it on my PSE 10 with a Pre-set of JPG High and that was there on a reload.

Hi,

So, you can't change it by clicking on the dropdown?

S4Web.jpg

You could try resetting the editor preferences:-

Close the editor

Use File explorer to go to folder

C:\Users\[your user name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\10.0\Editor

Delete the file

Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Prefs.psp

Load the editor and try again

Hello,

many thanks for your suggestion but it does not work.

I've canceled indicated file, and set all preferences but still have same problem

Can this be due to my GData antivirus program ?

Hi,

OK, so you can make a selection from the dropdown (as shown in your first screenshot) but it still isn't staying set.

Did it ever stay set or has it always been like that?

Your anti-virus program should not affect it at this stage, it could have some effect during installation. Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the software?

If you load the editor and then close it. Use File explorer to look at the time the preferences file (see previous message) was last written - it should be when you last closed it.

That should be where the option is saved.
