Ragged Type Edges - PS Elements

My Text images appear ragged both on screen and when printing.  This is a very recent problem.  What have I done/should I do?  Thank you.

Ensure the anti-aliasing box is checked in the tool options. You could also try from the top menu:

Layer >> Flatten Image
