I have a Elements 2024 installation on Win 11 PC and run RAW 16.2.
1. I don't get the full edit-menu in RAW16.2, the one with curves, lensblur etc... I get only a limited version. Is there a compatibility issue?
2. When I start up and open from Bridge (double click an image), Elements opens up and I get a message in that I need to download Camera Raw which I have done.... but the image does not open. But when I open direct from Elements (File >Open in Raw) Raw opens up. It also opens consequtive images from Bridge in RAW. But when I close dow Bridge and Elements and start again the same issue comes. I kind of need to "activate" the Open in Raw in Elements.
Appreciate some tip on what goes wrong.
Regards
Harald
You can get the Photography Plan for about $10 per month.
With tax in WA State I only pay $10.84 per month-- tons of benefits besides just PS.

There is no full ACR menu for Elements. The Elements ACR plugin is a stripped down version of the full ACR. As far as I know, you can't open raw files from Bridge unless you have a subscription to PS. Since I have one, I can use Bridge for the full version. I have also set Bridge as my external editor, which allows me to use either Bridge or the Organizer. In my opinion, Bridge should recognize Elements limited version as a "validating software" directly if PS is not present.

Have you tried using the Elements Organizer? It allows you to easily open raw files (in the crippled Elements version of ACR). You can open multiple raw files in Elements and batch edit them.
