Any new camera comes with a totally new raw format.
Your Sony did not exist when PSE15 was issued.
The relevant info is in that faq:

You need the camera raw converter plugin 10.1 which is only compatible with the current PSE2018.
So, if you don't want to pay the upgrade to the current version, your free solution is to download the Adobe DNGconverter mentioned in that faq.
That standalone software (not a plugin) can batch convert a whole folder of your raw files to the DNG raw format that your PSE15 or older versions can read and edit.
Same quality and free, but an additional batch step.
