I have a Nikon D3400 and am shooting in RAW format but it is giving me a error prompt when I try to open the files in Elements 14 saying the format isn't supported and to download the latest RAW software updates which I did... No longer have any updates available. Please Help.

Yes, the raw file of your camera is not supported by Elements 14.

Each new camera comes with its own new raw format, and older software versions don't support that new format.

Or if you don't want to pay the upgrade, your free solution is to download the Adobe DNGconvert program mentioned in the above FAQ.

That independent program (not a plugin) can batch convert a whole folder of your NEF files to the DNG raw format that your PSE14 can read and edit. Another step in your process, but free.
