Recover Catalog database from MacOS Time Machine

Explorer ,
Jan 31, 2018 Jan 31, 2018

Hi. Photoshop Elements Organizer 15 crashed on my MacBook Pro with Mac OS 10.12.6. Now I get the error "The catalog could not be opened. An internal programming error occurred." when I open Organizer. I tried to Repair the catalog, but it says there is nothing wrong with it. Yet it still fails to open.

I have a very recent backup of the laptop in Time Machine. I want to recover the catalog database from there, but I don't know where to look for the catalog file.

1. Does anyone know where Elements stores the Catalog file?

2. Does anyone have another possible solution to the problem?

Thanks in advance.

For Elements 15, you can find where the catalog files are using the Help | System Info command in Organizer.

They will be under "/Users/<Your User Name>/Library/Group Containers/<Some randomized folder name>/Application Support/Adobe/Elements Organizer/Catalogs/15.0/<Catalog Name>".
