I am sure this must have been asked before. When I upload to a certain website, half of the photos are rejected as being too big - over 10 mb. Can I reduce a photo or a batch of photos in Elements or any other programme. Used to be easy in Windows, but of course, the new improved Windows 10 does not allow this as far as I can see. Rather than mess about with dimensions, I would like to simply reduce to 9 mb. Thank you. I have PSE 14.
Try selecting a batch of images in the Organizer and from the menu choose:
File >> Export As new Files
Select jpeg
Choose a size (or custom size based on original aspect ratio) and set quality to about 7. Choose a folder to save to and click export. A setting of 7 usually gives reasonable compression for web images meaning they will load faster on web pages.

Thank you for this. I have sorted it out now, but will try this as well next time.
