I have a sectoon ofs comic page I wish to recolor. In order to do that I wish to preserve the line art and then to re add the color. What are the steps to removing existing color alone ? Thanks. I am using Elements 2023 but also have both 2024 and 2025. Thanks

Can you show us an example.
To remove all color from the page, you can change the image to grayscale, using Enhance>Convert to Grayscale.
One of the new features of Elements 2025 is easy recoloring using the Enhance>Change Object Color tool.

Thanks I appreciate your reponse. I have tried changing the art to grey scale. What I want to do is eliminate all the coloring except the line art which were originally black ink over pencil. Do you have a video source forEnhance>Change Object Color tool ?
I will post the image...

If you just want to create a line art page with your sample, I think the best option is to use the Enhance>Convert to Black and White tool. Using the Newspaper style option and making a few adjustments with the sliders, here is what I achieved:
But I'm not sure that is the best way to replace the colors since you will no longer have a color to replace.
If you want to simply replace the existing colors with the new Elements 2025 Replace Object Color tool, here is a video tutorial.

Thanks. I did try the infrared choice achieved a sort of result I liked. I will also try newspapers as you did. My next step will be to save the result as not a psd but a jpg. And then bring it back into Elements. A friend shared with me a how to video using full photoshop. I did review the video you linked. I am not sure color replacement is as simple as this video that is also out there. This is quite deceptive in termd of it's simplicity.

I agree that the Adobe promotional video is over simplified and should not be regarded as a How-to video.
