I have a question regarding renting Photoshop. My current PC is not handling the memory demands, and keeps giving me an error regarding cache files. So I am thinking of purchasing a new computer. My question is, if I am renting Photoshop can I load it on both a Mac and PC (Windows)? I know you can't if you purchase the program. Thinking I will purchase a Mac, but want the option to run it on my PC if I upgrade. I have to have PC because my Autocad runs more simply and smoothly on the Windows platform.

You could get a monthly subscription to a photography plan which would give you Photoshop and Lightroom Classic which can be used on both Windows and Mac.

You have asked your question on the Photoshop Elements forum which is a perpetual licence at a one-off cost. However to use on both Windows and Mac, it is necessary to purchase the boxed version from a store or on-line retailer. That will have the installation disks for both platforms.
