When running Topaz Adjust 5 I received the following - Error: cannot read common runtime path registry. It pops up every now and then and I never know when it will come up. I've run Adminstrator and Troubleshoot compatability and sometimes it works and other times it don't. Please advise.

What OS and version of Elements are you using?
If you click on Help>Sys Info . . . , what do you see at the end of the dialog? Does it show that Topaz Adjust is a plug-in that fails to load?

Do any Topaz plug-ins show up under the Filter menu and have you been able to use them in the past with Elements 2020?
How have you installed the plug-ins? I have found that the Topaz installer doesn't always get things right. In one situation, I had to copy the plug-in file to the appropriate plug-in folder, and by mistake I copied a 32-bit file instead of a 64-bit file. (I'm assuming that you have a 64-bit version of Windows.)

Yes, all my Topaz plug-ins show up under the filter option. And yes I have a 64-bit Windows.

So, if the filters have worked in the past, try resetting the preferences file. Go to Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button.
