Save images to jpeg from Camera Raw in Photoshop Elements 15

Hello,

I am a not a professional photographer. I take photos while visiting new places and upload those on Facebook. I take shots in raw mode so I need to convert those to jpeg and I'm using View NX2 to do that and now I just wanted to see how it works on Photoshop Elements 15. I must say its better to fix all the selected photos in a single click (Auto) but can't save those files to jpeg directly. User like me really need it to fix under-exposed or over-exposed photos by one click and convert those to jpeg for online upload. I've checked that this feature is available in Photoshop CC but it should be included in Photoshop Elements too. However, Photoshop CC is costly than Photoshop Elements as I'm not a professional photographer.

So, could you please add the jpeg conversion feature to Photoshop Elements.

Thanks,

Ashifur Rahaman

In Elements, the ACR conversion module does only conversion. The workflow is different.

Once you have edited in ACR your picture (or a lot of pictures), you simply click 'Done' to save your adjustments. If you want to save the adjustments to a batch of pictures you have edited at the same time in ACR, you click 'select all' before clicking 'Done'.

Your other choice, instead clicking 'Done', is to click 'Open', which opens your files in the editor where you can save them in the format you want, jpeg or other.

If you don't want to open in the editor and only want to save as jpeg, you can use two different batch processes:

- you use the 'process multiple files' function of the editor to create jpeg versions in a new folder

- you use the organizer 'Export as new files' function to export in any format and resolution you want.
