Saving a jpeg copy of a raw image

New Here ,
Dec 04, 2016 Dec 04, 2016

Hi all. I am using Photoshop Elements 13 on a PC with Windows.

I want to save a jpeg copy of an edited raw image but the box that opens when I click on "Save image" does not have that option.

What do I do?

Lilian

The 'save' option is misleading. It saves the raw format in the DNG format (which is also a raw format).

Your options are:

-  'Done' = saves the edits of the raw file without creating a copy in any format.

- 'Open' in the editor. Opens the editor with the edited settings.

Your options are:

- 'Open' in the editor. Opens the editor with the edited settings. From the editor you can save in any format you want.

If you want to convert raw files by batch, you can either:

- use the process multiple files command in the editor

- use the 'export to new files' command in the organizer.
