Saving PS Elements 2020 edited photos back into Photos App on Mac

I am no longer able to directly save photos edited in Photoshop Elements 2020 back to Photos app on Mac using Mojave. I used to be able to Open in:  PS Elements, carry out my edits and then Save Changes back in Photos app.  

I have recently run OnyX would this have somehow deleted the 'file' allowing for this procedure?  Can't think of any other reason for it to stop.
