Scanned B&W film displays as a negative

Greetings, I just scanned in my first black and white film negative using VueScan as a raw file.  It displays as a negative in Organizer and Photo Editor.  How do I change the image to a positive before I start editing it.  I am using Elements 14.

Try Filter > Adjustments > Invert.

That's how it works in version 15.
