I take macro shots of flowers. The flowers have different focus points. I want to use scene cleaner to make the whole closeup in focus. Ok I brought in 3 pics of closeups of different parts of flowers. I keep my base the same but can't seem to switch out the source. Lets say # 3 is the base. I work from #1 source then when I'm done I want to change the source to #2. When I double click on #2 or drag #2 into source it auto changes to my base in both boxes. I had to save the base then start over with the same base then number #2 as source. How can I change the source from multiple photos. Sometimes there might be 5 photos.

The problem with focus stacking is the alignment of the individual images, if the photos have not been shot using a tripod. I usually do this in Photoshop CC which has an auto-alignment feature but it is possible to do it manually in PSE using alignment points.
See if this video tutorial helps.

Hello,
When you left click on the images present in the Photo Bin, you should be able to select a new image as the source. Please try it out once and let me know if it works for you.
Thanks,
Medha

You may need to save an interim stage e.g if pulling focus from 5 images, start with the first three and save a new file. Then work with the remaining two plus the new composite file.
