Screen font too small on Dell 15.6 screen, resolution 3840 x 2160

I have installed PE 12 onto my new Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series laptop which has a resolution of 3940 x 2160.  The font is so very tiny but I do not know what to change so it becomes more normal size.  The computer is a 64 bit machine.

I have tried changing the screen resolution but that just make the viewing area smaller.

Does anyone have a solution other than upgrading to PE 18?

Thanks

A 15.6 in display is far from being comfortable for serious and continuous editing.

My advice: dowload the PSE 2018 trial version (free for 30days) and see if it's better with the automatic switch to 200% view.

My guess is that you'll find that the inferface and fonts will be still too small for comfortable reading.

Otherwise:

- try setting the Windows display parameters to a small resolution like 1600 x 900. For the organizer, set the font size to 150% or custom.

- At home, plug in an external standard resolution display.
