slider selector for brushes

The slider that selects the brushes collapses the brush menu when I put the mouse on it.  I can scroll through the brushes but this is time consuming. What is the answer?

Can you post a screenshot of what's happening? I can't duplicate it on my workspace.

Try making the panel bigger.

If you hover with your cursor (top-right) you can drag out when you see the double-headed arrows.
