Target: All my pictures presented as full screen and showing the text stored in the metadata (caption/description) of the picture in random order.

  1. The current Slideshow function requires selection of a them. All of the thems  generates a lot of visual noise (fancy transitions). I want simply one picture for each screen with the caption with no transition.
  2. Random sort  of slideshow.

Do you have any sugested for a work arrounds for this.

The only solution i can think of is:

1. Export all pictures to a new win-folder.

2. Use Win slideshow function to do the random sort.

3. Find a 3rd party app. capable of showing eatch picture incl. caption.

You can create slideshows with or without transitions in Premiere Elements.

There is a 30 day free trial:

Thanks for your prompt reply. I'm sorry that i did not describe my problem
better;

1) I want a *random *order of pictures. If I use Pemiere Elements then it
will generate a* static *order of pictures it then will repeat.

2) The slideshow is preburned i.e. It processes all pictures *before *it
shows the first picture. I want to make a show presenting my 40.000 picture
in random order,

Hope this clarifies my problem.

A random slideshow of 40k photos cannot be created in Elements.  Where do you intend to display these photos and where are the photos stored?  There may be some cloud solutions.  And I believe there are digital frames that will display photos in a random order from cloud storage or memory cards.  I also think it was possible to do on Windows 10, but that possibility has been removed from Windows 11.
