Stamp tool and spot healing tool doesn't work

I've 2020 element photoshop. I tried to use the stamp tool when I saw couldn't use the clone because the area to clone had not been defined on the screen so I tried to use spot healing when I saw option click to define the source point to be used to repair the image on the screen? Can anybody help me please?

I'm sorry but your question is not very clear.  The clone tool is intended to copy pixels from one area of the photo to another.   In order to define the source area, you have to press the Alt key (in Windows, Option key on Mac) and click on the area you wish to copy.  See this HelpX article for more details on using this tool. 

 

The Spot Healing tool is intended to remove blemishes from a photo.  You click with the brush over the area to be removed and the area you brush will be replaced by pixels from the surrounding area.  If you use the Content Aware option, the program will try to figure out which area is best for the replacement.  Otherwise, it will use surrounding pixels.  See this article for more information.
