I am new to Photoshop Elements 2020 (for Mac OS), although I have occasionally used much earlier versions (PE 10 was the last one). And when starting out with new software, it's always the little stupid things, which are obvious to most users, which seem to throw up a road block to getting something done.
I am trying to do a panorama merge with two pictures: a building main section and an extension wall to the left. Pictures came from different sources, and I am expecting to have to do some resizing and other editing to get them to merge corrctly. But I can't get that far. I select the 2 pictures from the photo bin (and only one appears in my workspace at a time), and hit the panoroma merge button, and get a message saying that documents must be saved before doing a merge. So I save both pictures and try again, only to get the same message. So I am stuck.
What might I be missing, and how can I move forward? Thanks.
Paul.
