After working with the same font for a long time with images in Photoshop Elements, suddenly Photoshop Elements is telling me the font is missing. But when I try to download it, it tells me it's still there. How can this happen when I didn't do anything to change anything? And how do I fix it? Thank you.

Which version of Elements are you using? Is the font a standard font or a special one that you have installed on your computer separately? (I don't have the exact font listed in your error message in my Elements 2024 installation, but I have one from the same font family.) If it is a standard font, you can try try resetting the preferences file. Go to the Edit>Preferences>General tab and click the Reset Preferences on next launch button. If that doesn't work, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the program.
