In the lower left cornor you can see the little box with the CHECK MARK, and the CIRCLE that denote save or cancel
That little box is in the way and can't be moved. If you try and type it ends up behind it.
Adobe needs to make that box MOVABLE so it can be dragged OUT OF THE WAY.

The confirmation checkmark is always on the bottom right corner of text, or when an image is edited- resized for example.
The only way I could duplicate what you show in your image is to drag the text boxt off screen so that the majoirty of it is not on the canvas.
Just type your text anywhere on your canvas- like in the middle of the image, confirm it- then just move the text box where you want it. In your case it appears to be the bottom left corner.

Thank you for your answer. The situation needs to be fixed, not a 'workaround'.

In my experience with adobe, and my opinion only : It's not going to change. Why? as far as I can tell you are the only user to be upset by this. Adobe, or any other software company will not change something in their interface just because one person does not like it. Get hundreds of others to say the same thing, then a change might happen.
