My wife's M1 Mac mini running MacOS 14.0 (Sonoma) using PS Elements 2023 the current Camera Raw won't open Canon R6 Mark II's C-RAW files. What is the latest Camera Raw version for PSE?

As installed, Elements 2023 runs Camera Raw 14.4.  Your camera requires Camera Raw 15.  It is possible to use a workaround to upgrade the Elements Camera Raw version to the latest version (currently 15.5).  However you must follow the instructions provided here precisely.

Having said that, there are a number of problems that have been reported by Elements 2023 users who have upgraded their Macs to Sonoma.

Greg, I was also a tester for PS E 2024 on my Macbook Pro and the files opened perfectly... I'll try to update her Mac Mini using these procedures.  Her Canon RP RAW opened fine, but the RAW files from her new R6 Mk II won't.

Adobe wasn't very good updating the 2023 version over the past year, in fact I never received one update!

Thanks, Steve
