Tool windows don't stay 'anchored' to new position

I'm using Elements 15 and have not had this problem in previous versions.

When a tool window opens (e.g. 'Levels' using Ctrl+L), it opens in the middle of the screen. I move the window, using my mouse, to the right-hand side of the screen. The next time I open the window, it's back in the middle of my screen. I have to move it every time I use it. Elements 15 doesn't 'remember' the moved position.

As I said, previous versions made the moved position as the default one for future use.

I've been through the user preference settings and can find no way to change this behavior.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks for your help and time.

Hi,

Which operating system are you running on?

On my Windows 10 system, it is remembering the last location - even if I reload the editor.

Brian,

I'm using the latest version of Windows 10.

I played around with Elements 15 a little more and you are correct. At first, I thought that some windows 'remembered' their last position and some did not. I tried four or five settings windows, and all remained where I last used them. I don't not try all the settings windows.

I guess I didn't get enough sleep the day I seemed to have a problem.

Thanks for your help and time. I appreciate it.

Jerry
