Transfer Plugins?

New Here ,
Dec 16, 2016 Dec 16, 2016

I've just installed Photoshop Elements 15, after using v13 for some time.  In v13 I have many plugins installed (Nik, Portrait Pro, Topaz Suite, etc., etc.)  Is there some way to transfer these into v15 without having to download and reinstall each one individually?

It should be possible for Nik collection; not sure about others. Simply copy the Google folder from the PSE13 Plugins folder to the PSE15 Plugins folder.

Did it work? It worked OK for me on Mac OS - PSE retail versions - not Mac App Store versions.

Quit the Elements Editor

COPY Google FROM

Macintosh HD/Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 13/Support Files/Plug-Ins

COPY TO

Macintosh HD/Applications/Adobe Photoshop Elements 15/Support Files/Plug-Ins

Next time you launch the PSE15 Editor you may see a message that plugins have been found that were not installed by Adobe. Simply agree and continue.

It may be different on Windows 64bit as PSE13 will be in Program Files (x86) and PSE15 in Program Files.
