Hi,
I have changed my laptop and want to transfer my photoshop element 12 to the new laptop.
Having signed out from the old laptop using my ID and pwd, iItried to install it on the new one, but i can't as i'm told that the product is 'already registered under a different ID'. I can sign in again on he old laptop using the same ID/pwd and in my account, the software appears in my regsiteredt product. So i can't undestand why i'm told that the ID and pwd is not the rigt one zhen i tried to regsiter on he new lapatop. Help/advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you registered it with Adobe, log in to your Adobe account and check to make sure you are using the correct serial number.
If you are, use the chat option here for Adobe Support:

Unfortunately it doesn't solve the problem: I am indeed registered in the new computer with the same ID as the one with which I signed out of PSE12 on the old computer, but keep beeing told the programme is registered under a different ID. The serial number is correct as it is recognised by Adobe. Obvioulsy, Adobe can accept the ID for signing out, and re-signing in on the same (old) computer, but not for signing in on a new computer.
thanks for your help.

How can it be a 'non genuine' software when it is registered with adobe and listed in the list of products purchased that I can see in my account (and surely Adobe can too...) ? I have now re-signed in my old computer ... and Adobe has accepted the serial number when re-signing in: there can be no better proof that it is a genuine serial number.
Please solve the problem or send me a new serial number so that i continue using a software which I purchased from you

I am not an Adobe employee, so I can't do that.
Try using the chat option at the link I provided previously:
