Transfering windows photoshop to mac

way back in 2011 i bought a photoshop elemnts and i have recently bought a mac, i am wanting to get this software onto my macbook pro. Is there anything i can do without having to buy it all over again? Many thanks if you have the answer!

Which version of photoshop elements?

If you bought the dvd set, then most likely you have an Mac install disc and the same serial will work.

If you purchased electronic download just for windows from adobe, then most likely you won't be able to use that version on your mac unless you buy a mac version from somewhere like amazon.
