Trying to use Photoshop Elements 13 to scan multiple photos

Am starting to digitize a massive number of photos, slides etc and have seen that you can scan multiple images and the save as separate files to save time, but cannot even see my scanner as an option when I select Import from in Elements Organiser. Have High Sierra software one my I-mac, and am using a Canon Pixma MG7150 printer/scanner

This has worked on occasion for me. Try to open the scanner first in Editor. Then go back to Organizer and it "may" appear then.

Thanks but not sure what transaction to use in editor to open the scanner ? Although I've still not been able to scan multiple photos with  Photoshop 13, I've actually found that the software with my Canon MG7150 allows me to scan several photos at once, and if I select detect separate items, it will identify the number of photos on the scanner, scan them, straighten them, and save as separate scanned files. it's a bit "clunky", as I would sooner scan in Photoshop, but it's the best I can doing for the time being.

When I scan photos using my scanner, I use the "File".."Get Photos and Videos" menu, which shows available sources  It allows importing photos from files and folders and also from a connected scanner.  Might work for your connected printer also.
