Unable to install Photoshop Elements 2019 on Windows 10

I am attempting to install Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019 for a client and am running into numerous problems:

1) When I launch the Setup.exe file the Installer window that pops up is blank and nothing happens. If I try to close the installer window the words Undefined, just shows up and nothing happens, I have to exit the installer via Task Manager.

2) I found other documentation that I needed to take the computer off of my companies domain for the installer window to display correctly. I did this and the installer window displayed correctly and I was able to install the software but, once I put the computer back on the domain Windows fails to boot and goes to recovery mode.

Is there a different install package that I can use?

To install Adobe Photoshop 2019 without the launcher window (silent install):

  • Open elevated Command Prompt
  • Change Directory to the Photoshop setup folder
  • Run the following command: “Set-up.exe” --silent=1

This was the problem that was not allowing Windows 10 to boot after installing Adobe Photoshop 2019. Disabled Virtualization in BIOS and Windows boots succesfully.

Hi, I've moved your post from the Photoshop forum to  Photoshop Elements forum where you are more likely to get an answer to your questions.

Thanks for your help. This worked to install the program but, once it was installed I tried to restart the computer and it would not boot into Windows, tries 3 times and then goes into recovery mode.
