The fact that Adobe does not provide real time help desk technical support for Adobe Photoshop Elements 14 is totally unsatisfactory . Producing a sophisticated product like Elements and then not offering appropriate technical support is unprofessional and totally unsatisfactory.
I will tell people to not buy Elements because it is not supported.
Forums are not support. Forums are second class support on the "CHEAP"! They are a sorry alternative to real support.

I absolutely understand your frustration, Gene.
To keep the price of Photoshop Elements low, Adobe has to cut the overhead costs somewhere. It can cut them from development and give you a tool that doesn't work very well, or it can cut costs by removing the cost of support agents' hourly wages and limiting Elements support to the forum.
That said, the Adobe Forums are not like most software companies' forums. Here, there are tens of thousands of visitors daily, a significant portion of whom are specially trained experts and technical support personnel--official or unofficial. You'll find plenty of Adobe employees helping out in the Forums as well as people like me who are ACP (Adobe Community Professional) or MVP (Most Valued Player). We're industry experts in our fields, educators who teach Adobe software, book authors who write about it, and consultants who advise Adobe on its products and future development.
In short, you'll get much deeper, more experienced help right here.
