Upgrade Photoshop Elements 2018

New Here ,
Mar 06, 2024 Mar 06, 2024

My mother has a license for Photoshop Elements 2018 and now that she has a new mac with new OS (Sonoma) PS Elements won't run and I can't install it after I have downloaded the file from her Adobe-account. Is there a way to upgrade it?

Ged is correct.

I've moved your post from Photoshop to Photoshop Elements.

2018 (version 20) wont work on Sonoma- you need the latest version.

Each version is a new installation and leaves your old version alone.

You will be prompted with the new version if you want it to import your catalogues from organizer in the old version- do it.
