Useless waste of HD space and time to try and use.

I am a user Photoshop Elements 6.0 from the XP and 98 generation of Windows. I also have used computers since the very early years of the 60's/70's. Plus I've worrked w/ electronics and very early computers since the very early days in the military, having started with the tubes vs transistors transition in 1960. Last year I bought a combo of Photoshop Elements and Premier Elements 2023. I must say I'm very sadly disappointed in the new software. It is a disorganized piece of software that is useless in trying to extend the range of photo or graphics improvement at least for anyone utilizing their brain. I do not need my computer to orgaqnize my graphics or photos. I definitely do not need a supposed "AI" to do it for me. I am capable of doing it the way I want, not the way you want. Your "Software" appears unusable. I cannot find an easy way to allow me to use my brain or my hardware to modify or even store my own work. I do not want your"storage (cloud or not). I have my own. It looks like your "software is a total waste of my time and money. I have used a litle of your "AI" with your software and am NOT impressed. I want to use my hardware and brain to better modify my photos. I also will not use my talents for "social media". That I do NOT wan. Your software and methods are too clunky and awkward to use and not worth the effort. I wasted $150.00! To show you how awkward your site is also, I could not find a way to tell you of my dissatisfaaction on yourr web site. Color me very disappointed!

" I want to use my hardware and brain to better modify my photos." Why would you purchase the image editor and the video editor together?
" I definitely do not need a supposed "AI" to do it for me. I am capable of doing it the way I want, not the way you want. " Again, I have to ask: Why would you even purchase the software then? In PSE some of it is in fact AI, but mostly it's just a bunch of fancy actions.
"Your software and methods are too clunky and awkward to use and not worth the effort. " Lots of options out there. Photoshop? $14 a month for new users. Lots of free programs... Not worth the effort? How exactecly would you know that if you haven't used the software? Photoshop elements is extremly well documented by Adobe, and users such as myself. Hundreds of videos on youtube, thousands of hours of instruction, and of course this user to user forum.
At one point you had to decide "I'm done"- do you have any idea what point that was?

I bought the "package" because it was on sale at Office Depot, I believe. I used Photoshop Elements V6 or 7 for many years and thought it might be useful. What a deal! What I got was a bunch of software for use by groups of people using their methods. My computers are fast enough and I have more than enough storage space to handle all I want or need to do. I do not want my files stored in the cloud. I have the local space. I do not want to be "forced to use the cloud or only use my software when I'm on the net. I have thousands of "family" and relatives pictures covering many years. I want them stored according to my dating data and grouped by families. I do not want my computer to store my files where it wants nor do I want them grouped by ridiculous AI reasoning. My way works well for my usage. I "purchased"
the software for my usage not yours.
I have used the software and still find it unreliable, clunky and completely unsatisfactory for my uses. My original Photoshop Elements with increased capability it what I need. The 2023 software isn't usable for my purposes!!!!!!

I have been using Photoshop Elements / Premiere Elements since 2006 (PSE v5 PrE v3) since 2006. I currently use the 2025 versions 25. I built Radio Shack amplifiers in the 50's. My first computer was a TRS-80 and now I use a fast PC with an 8TB SSD. I really like the Organizer's file cataloger. The photo and video editors are simple and straight forward. The Face Recognition and Auto Curation are extraordinarily helpful. The Organizer enables me to efficiently sort thru the 10k photos I often take on a birding trip. Adobe Camera Raw polishes my raw files nicely. Faced with 134GB of old home movies, PrE allowed me to make 4 hours of decent videos. I particulary appreciate being able to integrate photo and video editing on one platform. Like me, PSE/PrE is good enough for practical use.

Your path in computers and electronics is similar and almost identical to mine. I have done a lot of engineering, design and programming in and on computers and PLC (Programmable Logic Control) systems. I wanted software that would work for my purposes, when and where I want or need to use it. That's using my desktops or laptops and storage hardware when and where I am and independent of whether a network is available. It is to be used for my purposes and that does not include "social media". That is not worth my time or effort.

I store all my photo/video files on my local computer and do not use Adobe's cloud storage, which is not a program requirement. Nor do I use social media sharing. Also, you can turn off the Auto Curation and Face Recognition.

You don't have to use those features.
What do you want to do with your photos and videos?
I wasted $150.00!
