Hi am trying to use offset to repeat a pattern, worked once though i dont know what i did but now all that happens is i get a tile with no offset - whatever offsets i use - same issue - suspect i am missing something obvious but cant find it?! thanks!

goo point - probably best with pictures
the first one has the patterns as tiles.
the online advice says to offset horizontal and vertical at 50% of the pixels in the picture being used for the pattern - and when i do this this is what i get ...
the next one has an offset - i cant work out how i did this now - i only get the tiling above.

Nothing shows up. To add an image, go to the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the reply box here on the forum page.

hithe one with the blue background is all i can get - no offset, the one with the white background is what i am hoping for, managed once but no idea how to do it again...thanks for bearing with me
