Video Files in Elements 15 Organiizer

New Here ,

I am a registered user of Adobe Elements 15 Organizer.  I cannot view video files that I import into the program and get an error message that I do not have the proper codec files.  I have tried "MOV" and MP4 files.  What formats does Elements Organizer support?  I do not have Elements Premiere. When I purchased the software, Organizer and Premiere were both listed on the package but when I installed Organizer, I learned that there was an additional charge to use Premiere.  Are there any video formats that work with Elements Organizer without having Premiere installed?

Which OS are you working on?

Do you have Quick Time installed on your machine?

Thanks,

Anwesha

Hi,

Please refer to page 17 and 69 of  https://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/elements-organizer_reference.pdf  for information on supported formats and requirement of Premiere Elements for videos in Organizer.

Please get back to me in case you have any queries.

Thanks,

Arshla

There is no ambiguity in any Adobe offer: Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements are two dinstinct programs. They can be bought as a 'bundle' at a lower price, but the fact that both installation files are present in a boxed version does not mean it's 'an additional charge'. You get the installation program for both, but only the license(s) you pay for.

The boxed version has advantages. No problem with very slow Internet connections. The license is valid for either Mac or Windows (you can activate two computers). You can try both programs even if you have only one license.

In your case, being able to test freely the video editor is very important. The video editor works the same with videos and stills with advanced funtions, but it implies a learning curve. Try it and see if you are ready to learn the basics; if so it  may be worth buying the license for both and create advanced videos as well as slideshows.

I have purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 15 on DVD about two years ago and since then I have tried to install it, but fail time after time. I have registered the product to Adobe with serial number that is: 1057-1477-7720-6770-3796-9296, but still I fail with the installation. I have contacted Adobe support several times and last time it was yesterday (8/3) I talked to the phone with the support for about three hours, but I have not been able to install this product, so the problem is not resolved yet. What should I do?
