I recently got a new macbook pro with the M1 processor. I am also using PSE 23 for editing photos and creating digital scrapbook pages for printing. It has always been a struggle to get the right settings on my macbook screen to match my prints (mostly because of backlighting), what looks great on screen is dark when printed. I noticed there are some new onboard presets available with my macbook/ventura and I want to know if anyone has tried them. The default is: Apple XDR Display (P3-1600 nits). But I see settings for Design & Print (P3-D50). This setting seems to have a peach color cast and seems very bright on-screen. I also saw the Internet & Web (sRGB). It seems to have a blue cast but the backlighting is dialed way down and maybe it would be closer to an actual print. Has anyone tried these with PSE and printing through Shutterfly or any other printing service? sRGB is the color space I am using in PSE, and I'm wondering if I will get a better WYSIWYG experience. I don't want to get into monitor calibrators (been there, tried that in the past). So I'm looking to see if anyone else has already tried giving any of these a try.
