What is with Elements and Windows? Elements 18 and 15 do not work anymore and the bad part is that Adobe does not have an official answer let alone a way to correct it. I have lost a few hours trying quiete a few options with no avail. One sure way to loose customers. I have use Elements since 2014 and now I have a backload of pictures to edit. Bad, bad, bad....

Many users with 4GB of RAM have solved the same problem by editing the registry. It seems that it's not so much the amount of RAM, but the OS and software not agreeing to recognize the real size of RAM. Before the Windows update, the problems happened in rare situations with a lot of RAM.

That said, I consider that the minimum requirement for 4GB is a bit optimistic. That should not prevent the software to run, but that makes it run very slow.

Maybe already twenty posts about the issue in this forum.

Nothing has changed with Adobe softwares. The last Windows 10 update (build 1803) has created a number of issues, most of them have the same memory size error. The solution to edit the Windows registry works for most of the users having reported in this forum. Note that the memory size error does not happen with all users: it does not for me (I have 8GB RAM). PSE 14, 15  and 2018 have similar problems.

While my main computer has 8GB, when I chose a second affaordable computer for my country home, I chose 6GB, and everything works fine, but of course a bit slower.
