System is running on Windows 10.
When back up is almost ready, it stops with the message "a fault has appeared when writing a file or files C:..." See below.
This happens every time I run back up.
What does the message mean? and
what has caused the stop? and go
how to fix it?

There has been 15 - 40 GB ffree space. Today 40 GB free space. Elements contains about 27000 pictures => 60 GB.
The C: disc 195 GB.
OneDrive is running on the computer with 12 - 6 GB on the C:. 6 GB today.

Now there are 52 GB free space on C: where the Photoshop Element 12 is.
The target discs free space when I started a back up today was 93 GB and 37 GB was still free.
When it crashed 93% was done => the back up map was 52 GB with 65504 files.
I followed the process today. 72% was done in 30 min, 90% in 55 min and 93% in 60 min.
How does the process work? Does it take db by db or does it take "picture" by "picture" with its belonging databases?
How much space do you think I should have on C: and target disc when back up starts?

Try removing that picture and see what happens.

I have tryied that before with the result that the back up will stop at some of the "the next" "picture".
I am moving my files to OneDrive to get more free space and will try again soon.
Thanks for your helping me.
