Where can I find the manual for Elements 11?

New Here ,

On-line tutorials do not work when you want to read up on the software on a train, or even at home while watching TV. Do you have PDFs that we can download and read? Or do we have to wait for software authors to fill the gap?

Hmm, that's odd. Usually there is a link on the main page of the Help files for both Organizer and Editor that lets you download it as a pdf, but I can't find it on the PSE 11 pages. Anyone else see it?

Yes, but the question is how to download it. Can you say where there's a link to a PDF, hyadav? I can't find it.

Good!

I have been searching for those links in my trial version.

It would be a good idea to update the faq about 'where to find the guides...' with the link to the pdf versions.

I would also like the links to the pdf versions of these tutorials. HTML is not helpful when wanting to download them.

Dave,

The PDF versions of the manuals are not yet available. I will update this thread as soon as we have the downloadable PDF versions in place.

Cheers,

David

You're welcome, Dave.

Just in case you would have looked for Help on Elements Organizer in .pdf format: http://helpx.adobe.com/pdf/elements-organizer_reference.pdf.

Have a good weekend!

b.t.w. Why does F1 give an error saying I am not connected to the Internet and the URL cannot be found? I am permanently connected to the net, and open whatever I like on the net when this message is appearing.

Dave,

I'm not sure why you're facing that issue. Could it be you've configured your firewall to not allow internet access unless you explicitly allow it?

Cheers,

David

Nope…I am a MCSE running my own IT and Photography company, and it has me stumped as well??

Lr 4.2's F1 works perfectly.

Many thanks David.

I started computing in the days when a PC with Microsoft Office was accompanied by a shelf full of user manuals, so it seems odd for software to be issued before there's any documentation!

Now I can start reading how to use the new version of PE!!

Hi Chris,

Thanks for posting back.

I know what you're talking about. Microsoft Windows, at that point in time, also shippedin in 13 (or 17?) floppy disks!

But I hear what you're saying, Chris. The documentation for most Adobe products is now live on the day of the release on the documentation portal. Most products do not come with printed manual anymore. Online manuals are much easier to update constantly, linking to new content, adding links to community blogs and videos, and also making documentation fixes where required.

Apologies for the delayed PDF, I hope you're finding it useful.

Cheers,

David
