Where's Photoshop when you need help!

Since my latest Windows 10 update, I cannot use Photoshop. I purchased both Photoshop 5 and 12, and I can't use either. I get an error message when I attempt to save photos I've edited, telling me the image cannot be found, with the image on the screen. They've taken down the downloads for version 5. Do I have to spend another $200 to do anything with my photos??

Version 5 was only available on disc.
