I read here in another post that PS12 and PSE14 are the oldest version that can still be activated.
The dates of the posts I did not record so wondering if such is still true?
1 Correct answer
AFAIK, all versions of Elements can still be activated as long as you have not exceeded the number of licensed activations (normally two). The problem arises when you are unable to deactivate one of your two allowed activations, e.g. if the hard drive has crashed or you have upgraded your OS without first deactivating Elements. In such a case, the only possible way to activate your license is to do so offline, using the instructions found in this article.

I install and unistall version 10 all the time. zero issues, ever. Why? I always logout / deactivate before I unistall.
