why can't i download photos from my IOS 10 device to elements 8.0?

Elements 8 can't not find my ios 10 device in the "Get Photos from the camera option, it used to work fine, but has suddenly stopped.

• Is the device getting recognised by Adobe PhotoDownloader (From Camera or Card Reader) of PSE9?
• Do you encounter any error while importing media? If so, please attach snapshot showing the error.
• What is your device iPhone or iPad?
• Can you please elaborate your exact steps?
