My text tool was operating without a problem. I closed down then switched off my computer. When I turned on Photoshop the next time the text tool did not work. An error message come up " Could not complete your request because something prevented the text engine from being initialized." I have absolutely no idea what that means or how to solve this problem. Can anyone please help? Julia

I understand you are facing issue with Text Tool in Adobe Elements 12.
I request you to please create a new user account with administrator access & test Adobe Elements in it .
Please let us know whether you are facing same issue there or not.

Hi Anwesha for your reply but I am still having the same problem. I am not computer competent so need a much simpler answer. also if I purchase Photoshop Elements 15 am I still going to have the same error occur.
Any help would be appreciated.
