No idea? I assume that the repair tool dues not work for PS Elements or could it be due to my computer ?

Try the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner tool and then reinstall Photoshop Elements 8.

Everything was executed but the same result.

I'm sorry you haven't had any luck getting pse 8 running on your iMac.

You can run the latest Photoshop Elements 2024 on macOS Monterey 12.7.4

Ich habe mir jetzt PSL 2024 gekauft ,bereue es aber schon.

Habe das Benutzerhandbuch aufgerufen und muss feststellen das die dortigen Abbildungen und Beschreibungen nicht zu meinem Programm passen. Dort steht dann auch "zulezt bearbeitet 2021 "  oder 2023.

Da bin ich mit meinen 80 Jahren etwas überfordert mich da durchzuarbeiten.

Da hätte ich mir auch gleich das kostenlose Programm von Gimp herunterladen können.

Ich habe meinen Mac auf OS Mojave gepatscht und wollte jetzt noch einmal mit der license recovery

den PSL 8 versuchen zu aktivieren und bekomme diese Anzeige :

 

Das neue PSL 2024 ist mit OS Mojave nicht compitable

What message are you getting when you try to run PSE 8?

Photoshop Elements 2024 requires macOS Monterey 12 or newer.

Yes,

The first one when I tryto down load, the second open up when I open >

When I down load the link, it don't open

When I try to run the installt PSL 8, the error :150/30 show up

How did you get macOS Mojave to run on that Mac 9,1 (early2009)?

Did you do a fresh macOS Monterey install or update the existing OS?

macOS Monterey is on my MacBook Air.

On my iMac I had El Capitan (10.11.6) and upgradet with the patcher to macOS Mojave (10.14.6), because it is the last what takes 32 bit prgramms and also take 64 Bit.

The new PSL 2024 is on my MB Air and when I buy it , I did not think about that it would not run on older Programm. I would like to use it on my iMac, because the screen of theMB Air is so small or hoped to get PSL 8 an the iMac funktion.

I think the only way your going to get PSE8 to work on the 2009 iMac is to do a fresh operating system install.

Unless you do a dual boot, installing the required macOS Monterey 12 or newer for PSE 2024 on your 2009 iMac will preclude you from using any 32 bit apps.
